Blush Spring Wedding In Oklahoma

Gary and Ashley's wedding on Saturday, May 7th 2022 could not have been more beautiful; a warm and sunny spring day for an outdoor ceremony overlooking a pond. The Lodge at Bridal Creek paired perfectly with Ashley's blush and cream colors with gold accents. Florals and decor were by the talented Tasha Bartholic of TK Weddings and Event Decor. Guests had smoke cannons to fire off when the couple had their first kiss as husband and wife, which made for a fun ceremony picture. After the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktail hour with a corn hole game that also doubled as their guest book. Cocktails and dinner was catered by Aila's Catering . During dinner we snuck outside to capture some sunset portraits of the bride and groom.... Let me tell you, I am so happy we did because the sunset was the perfect shade of blush. The reception party started off with the help Mike Hilton of RedLine Entertainment.

On display in the reception hall were wedding dresses on mannequins that belonged to Ashley's mother and grandmothers as well as Gary's mother. I have never seen such a fun and unique way to incorporate the "something old" into your wedding. One thing some may not know about Ashley is that she NEVER goes anywhere without her laptop and handy dandy printer; which is the reason for the image of her in the bridal suite floor trying to print her place cards and dinner menus. Ashley and Gary's favorite fair food is a corn dog; wait staff served them as late night snacks. The night ended with a private last dance while guests were lighting sparklers for the departure of the bride and groom in the Henry family 1970 Chevelle.
